The Head of Event and Venue Delivery is a pivotal leadership role at the heart of everything London Stadium does. You will be the primary operational force behind the delivery of world‑class events, accountable for the relationships, the planning, the people, and the performance that make each one a success.

Core responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Build and sustain trusted, long‑term relationships with all event owners, key anchor tenants and operational partners at London Stadium, serving as the primary senior point of contact for: Concert Promoters, Major Event Owners, West Ham United, UK Athletics, Delaware North and the London Legacy Development Corporation.
  • Act as operational lead on event days — managing the Event Team and assuming overall accountability for the successful delivery of every event at the stadium.
  • Chair regular Event Team meetings and present updates to the London Stadium senior team, suppliers, partners and tenants.
  • Act as operational contract lead for London Stadium’s external ticketing partner (Holistix).
  • Work with the Projects team during key stadium transitions between sports, concert and athletics configurations, co‑ordinating flooring, logistics, overlay and branding.
  • Work with the Safety department and represent Operations at the Safety Advisory Group.
  • Lead, motivate, develop and inspire the Event Team and Community Track Team.
  • Assume full financial accountability for the departmental budget across Events.

Applications are invited from candidates who can display the following key skills and experience:

  • Significant experience in a senior operations or event delivery leadership role at a major venue.
  • Proven track record delivering large‑scale events across at least one of: Live Music, Premier League Football or National/International Sports Events.
  • Strong knowledge of large London or national venues and their operational ecosystem.
  • Experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder relationships including promoters, clients, local authorities and contractors.
  • Demonstrable experience as a budget holder, with accountability for significant event and overhead expenditure.
  • Experience managing and developing high‑performing teams in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
  • A natural leader that is confident, decisive and able to command the trust of clients, colleagues and contractors in equal measure.
  • Energised by complexity and pace; thrives in a high‑demand, dynamic environment without compromising on quality.

We are committed to appointing individuals that truly reflect the diversity that London has to offer. Applications are welcomed regardless of gender, age, marital status, disability, religion, ethnic origin, political opinion, sexual orientation or whether or not you have dependents.
