London Stadium are looking for a Contracts and Procurement Officer to join the team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career in a dynamic and fast-moving environment, with the opportunity to be involved in our diverse range of projects. The role will report into the Senior Contracts and Procurement Manager and will support in the delivery of procurement activity and contract management across the organisation. The successful candidate will be vital in supporting the establishment and delivery of best practice in the procurement function within London Stadium.

Acting as a key member of the procurement team, this diverse role will provide support on complex and high-value projects and lead the delivery of non-complex procurements, while managing a defined portfolio of contracts. The role will also provide the opportunity to further develop skills in commercial and contract management. The successful candidate for this role will have practical experience of managing varied procurement operations and contract lifecycle management, engaging with stakeholders of all levels across the business and working in a corporate procurement environment subject to public procurement law. Key Responsibilities
  • Leading core projects and supporting complex projects, ensuring the delivery of challenge free and value for money procurements.
  • Assisting stakeholders with the drafting of procurement documentation to be used in the process leading to the selection of supplier/s, whilst ensuring that the right supply‑chain management strategy and process is implemented.
  • Advising colleagues on suitable routes to market and market engagement opportunities to ensure procurements are competitive and take responsibility for finalising the contract scope and commercial model, to deliver the project objectives.
  • Help administer contracts, ensure terms and conditions and performance targets are met, and manage contract variations or amendments.
