Product Manager – London Speech Workshop

London (Hybrid) | £55,000 – £65,000 depending on experience, plus performance-related bonus

Reporting to: Alastair Wong, B2B General Manager

About Us

London Speech Workshop is a values-led communication coaching company helping people speak with confidence, authenticity, and impact. Through our Serlin Method™, we blend psychology and performance to create real, lasting transformation for individuals and organisations alike.

We work with SMEs, charities, and household names including Disney, Google, Amazon, Airbnb, Booking.com, PayPal, Unilever, Chanel, John Lewis, and Santander. We're growing across B2B, B2C, and digital, and this is a genuinely exciting moment to join us.

We have a lateral structure, a warm and close-knit team, and a simple ethos: our people should feel valued and know they're delivering real value in the world. We look for good eggs with talent, heart, and grit.

The Role

This is a role for someone who sees a client journey the way a product manager sees an app: as one connected experience to be mapped, measured, and made brilliant.

Right now, our B2B client journey - from landing on the website, through enquiry, order, onboarding, and the courses themselves - is owned in pieces. Marketing owns the website, sales owns the order, coaches own the delivery. Nobody owns the whole thing. That's the job: treat the entire journey as a product, find where clients get stuck and where they light up, and keep improving it against the growth metrics that matter - conversion, follow-through, satisfaction, renewal.

And there's a genuinely exciting build at the centre of it. We're creating the LSW app from scratch, and you'll own it from first concept to launch and beyond. Its purpose is simple and ambitious: to move our clients into the habit zone - where practising their communication becomes a daily or weekly habit, not something that only happens in sessions. Great coaching changes people in the room; habit is what makes it stick. The app is how we get there, and it's also how we open up a warmer, richer digital relationship with our clients beyond email.

The app is where you and Emma, our founder, will work closely together. LSW sits on genuinely strong IP: the Serlin Method, refined over 18 years, and almost all of it currently lives in written form. There's an adventure ahead in taking it from analog to digital, turning it into an interactive, AI-enabled product that feels unmistakably 21st century. Emma brings the Method; you bring the product craft, and together you'll shape what it becomes on screen. The client journey, though, is yours. Across B2B and beyond, you'll map it, measure it, and improve it with real autonomy.

You'll start with our B2B side, where the growth opportunity is biggest. Prove the playbook there, and the natural next step is extending it across to B2C. Both sides of the business need this app, and both are moving toward a subscription model, so what you build here becomes the engine of that shift.

What You'll Own

  • The end-to-end B2B client journey: map the full flow from website to enquiry, order, onboarding, delivery, and renewal - then own the experience at every handoff, working with our B2B GM, sales lead, CSM, and coaches
  • The growth metrics that matter: define and track conversion at every stage, follow-through and completion rates, satisfaction, and renewal - reported clearly to the leadership team, and used to decide what to build next
  • The LSW app, from zero to launch: define the vision, scope the MVP, choose the build approach, manage the developers, and get it into clients' hands - then keep iterating on real usage data
  • Habit design: build the engagement loops - prompts, practice, progress, connection to their coach - that make LSW part of a client's week, not just their diary
  • Digital communication beyond email: design how and where we talk to clients across their journey (in-app, notifications, messaging), so every touchpoint feels warm and human, never automated noise
  • Continuous improvement: run a steady cycle of journey experiments and quick wins alongside the bigger app build - this is a shipping role, not a strategy-deck role

Who You Are

  • ~4–6 years in product management, with at least one genuine 0→1 build you can point to - you've taken a digital product from idea to launched, ideally an app people use in their everyday lives
  • Fluent in habit-forming product design: engagement loops, triggers, rewards, retention. You know why some apps become part of someone's day and most don't, and you've applied that thinking for real
  • A journey thinker: you've mapped and optimised funnels, retention, and engagement metrics before, and you instinctively see a business through its client's eyes
  • Happy being the only product person in the building: you write your own specs, run your own user research, and manage external developers with clarity and pace
  • Equally happy leading and collaborating: you'll run the client journey with real independence, and on the app you'll work shoulder to shoulder with a founder who knows her Method inside out
  • Commercially sharp: you tie product decisions to revenue - renewals, conversion, expansion - not just engagement vanity metrics
  • A shipper: you'd rather launch something good and learn than polish something perfect in private
  • Warm, human instincts: our clients come to us for connection and confidence, and everything you build should feel like that
  • Genuinely curious about people, behaviour and what great communication can do

Nice to Have

  • Experience in coaching, education, wellbeing, fitness, or another behaviour-change product - anywhere the product's job is to build a habit
  • Experience taking existing content or IP digital, or building subscription or AI-enabled products
  • Experience choosing and managing app development agencies or no-code/low-code build routes
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or a comparable CRM
  • An interest in psychology, human performance, or personal development

What Success Looks Like

  • The full B2B client journey mapped and measured within your first few months, with quick wins already shipped on the biggest friction points
  • The app scoped, built, and launched within the first year - and genuinely used weekly by our clients, not sitting idle on their phones
  • Clients measurably in the habit zone: practising between sessions, engaging with LSW as part of their week
  • Clear, improving numbers on our north-star metrics: enquiry-to-order conversion, course completion, renewal - and the foundations of a subscription relationship taking shape
  • A digital relationship with clients that goes well beyond email, and feels unmistakably like LSW
  • A proven journey playbook, ready to extend across the whole business

Salary, Growth & Benefits

  • £55,000–£65,000 depending on experience
  • Performance-related bonus: real upside tied to the results you drive, especially the success of the app
  • A rare 0→1 opportunity: build a product from scratch inside an established, growing brand with real clients waiting for it
  • A clear growth path from B2B to owning the client journey across the whole business
  • Hybrid working (3 days/week in our stunning Farringdon office)
  • 24 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Workplace pension
  • Learning budget and access to our own coaching and training
  • Two wellness days a year
  • A warm, ideas-friendly team that genuinely lives what it teaches
