About the role

Our Passenger Experience Assistants play a pivotal role in the day to day operating and presentation of our airport. As one of the first faces our passengers see, they are responsible for ensuring the exemplary standard of service our passengers have grown to expect, and enjoy, are consistently met.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Attending to the needs and requests of all passengers.
  • Checking passengers and their baggage in for their flights at the check-in desks.
  • Supporting with the boarding of passengers onto their flights via the departure gates.
  • Providing supported movement to passengers who require it, for example, someone with reduced mobility.
  • Covering duties in the Food & Beverage and Retail outlets across the terminal.
  • Assisting the cleaning team throughout the shift, ensuring high standards of presentation are maintained throughout the airport.
  • Providing assistance to passengers and customers within our Surface Access facilities.
  • Embodying the Airports ‘One Team’ culture and understanding that there may be times when required to undertake other activities to support the needs of the business.

The Airport is in operation 24/7, so you may be scheduled and expected to work any shift during operating hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
