About The Role
As Chef de Partie at London Southend Airport I contribute to the smooth operation of the kitchen by passionately taking responsibility of my own section. I excel at working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and take pride in delivering exceptional meals to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- I will be responsible for my own section of the kitchen
- I will prepare, cook, and present dishes to a high standard
- I will work collaboratively with my fellow kitchen team members to ensure our smooth service remains consistent
- I will be responsible for supervising and supporting the junior chefs, including Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistant
- I will be responsible for maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards
- I will assist with the stock control, ordering and stock levels
- I will be responsible for preparing all mise en place in advance
- I will fully embody the Airports âOne Teamâ culture and understand that there may be times when I am required to undertake other activities to support the needs of the business.
- I understand that the Airport is in operation 24/7 so I may be scheduled and expected to work any shift during operating hours, this will include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays
