About the role

Up to £40,428.00 Per Annum. We are currently developing our talent pool for our Airport Fire Service. While there are no immediate vacancies within the team, successful applicants will be added to our talent pool for up to six months. During this time, you will be prioritised for permanent full time opportunities as they arise. Our Fire Service plays a crucial role in keeping London Southend safe. You will be positioned at the heart of our airport and will work as a team to quickly respond to a wide range of incidents.

Key Responsibilities

  • In the result of an emergency situation, I will undertake the role requirements of a Firefighter as identified in CAP 699 (Competence of Rescue and Fire Fighting Service Personnel).
  • I will undertake both Watchroom and operations duties to maintain the effectiveness and safety of the airfield.
  • I will respond to emergency situations both on and off the airport in line with company and industry regulations.
