About the role

Our Passenger Experience Assistants play a pivotal role in the day to day operating and presentation of our airport. As one of the first faces our passengers see, they are responsible for ensuring the exemplary standard of service our passengers have grown to expect, and enjoy, are consistently met.

Responsibilities include:

  • Attending to the needs and requests of all passengers.
  • Performing deep cleans of the terminal and aircraft.
  • Managing the waste management of the airport.
  • Managing the Legionella Risk following the regime set by my line manager.
  • Controlling COSHH.
  • Providing assistance to vulnerable passengers with reduced mobility or hidden disabilities.
  • Assisting Food & Beverage and Retail outlets throughout the terminal.
  • Embodying the Airports ‘One Team’ culture and undertaking other activities to support the needs of the business.

The Airport operates 24/7, so you may be scheduled to work any shift during operating hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

To undertake this role, you need the following skills:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively on your own and as part of a team.
  • Customer service experience and a commitment to delivering the highest standards.
