About the role: Our Food and Beverage department are a key part in providing our passengers with a smooth and positive journey through our airport. Our Sous Chefs are crucial in the smooth running of the kitchen ensuring that our passengers are sent off on their travels satisfied.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Preparing all meals in line with the Chef’s specifications and standards.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment including conducting deep cleans.
- Managing stock including stock rotation, food labelling, product measuring, and food-ordering.
- Deputising for the Chef in their absence.
- Embodying the Airports ‘One Team’ culture and undertaking other activities to support the needs of the business.
The Airport operates 24/7, so you may be scheduled to work any shift during operating hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise: You will need the following skills to undertake this role:
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working in a kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of food safety.
