About the role:
- Variety of part time contracts available.
- Our Security Team play a crucial part in helping the airport thrive and operate seamlessly, facilitating the smooth and timely processing of passengers, and carrying out aviation security duties across the airport.
- I will undergo all required Security training to ensure that I am fully compliant with CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), company, and aviation legislation and safety procedures.
- I will be responsible for the screening of passengers and baggage in line with the regulations set by CAA.
- I will monitor the building and grounds through CCTV monitoring and physical patrols.
- I will perform various paperwork and administrative duties.
- I will work with my team and my colleagues from other departments to meet our goal of providing our passengers with a positive journey through our airport.
- I will fully embrace the Airport’s ‘One Team’ culture and understand that there may be times when I am required to undertake other activities to support the needs of the business.
- I understand that the Airport is in operation 24/7 so I may be scheduled and expected to work any shift during operating hours, this can include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- I can pass a colour-blind test to enable me to use the X-Ray Machines.
- I have strong communication skills and will be able to confidently communicate with colleagues and customers at all levels.
- I pride myself on delivering excellent standards of customer service, quality and attention to detail.
- I have resided in the UK for the last 3 years.
- I have experience in both security and aviation (this one isn’t essential, but we would love it if you did!).
