About the role

As Food & Beverage Duty Supervisor, I work alongside the General Managers to support the delivery of the high-quality experience our passengers have grown to expect. I lead and develop a team of F&B Team Members and foster a culture of continuous improvement across all aspects of the department.

Key responsibilities:

  • I support the General Managers in the day-to-day operation of all F&B outlets, SkyLife Lounge, SkyCafe’s and the Navigator Pub.
  • I will lead, develop and inspire the F&B Team members.
  • I will be responsible for ensuring that the department work in line with all policies and procedures in line with Level 5 food safety, HACCP processes and Allergen regulations.
  • I will be responsible for ensuring that all required reporting is documented.
  • I will fully embody the Airports ‘One Team’ culture and understand that there may be times when I am required to undertake other activities to support the needs of the business.
  • I understand that the Airport is in operation 24/7 so I may be scheduled and expected to work any shift during operating hours, this will include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

This is a key role to support with the smooth day-to-day running of the Food & Beverage Department so there are some specific skills and experience we would like the successful candidate to possess:

  • I hold a minimum of a level 2 in Food Safety.
  • I have proven successful experience in a Food & Beverage supervisory role.
  • I am confident working in a high-volume hospitality environment.
  • I am able to demonstrate a strong track record of performing against CX, sales and cost control targets.
  • I possess strong knowledge of food safety, licensing laws, allergen legislation (including Rachel’s Law) and HACCP principles.
  • Although it is not a requirement of the role, it would be advantageous if you have experience working with Shield Safety (or a similar system).
