About the role
Our Food and Beverage department are a key part in providing our passengers with a smooth and positive journey through our airport. Our Delivery Assistants ensure that all deliveries are transported through the airport keeping our premium lounges, bars, cafés and restaurants fully stocked. We are currently recruiting for 6 hours per week and 8 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
- Accepting the deliveries of all F&B items.
- Inspecting the deliveries ensuring any damages are reported.
- Transporting the delivery throughout the airport.
- Packing the deliveries away into the storeroom.
- Working outside in all weather conditions.
- Embodying the Airports ‘One Team’ culture and undertaking other activities to support the needs of the business.
- Being scheduled to work any shift during operating hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
To undertake this role, you need the following skills:
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience of manual handling preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.
