About the role
As Breakfast Chef at London Southend Airport I contribute to the smooth operation of the kitchen by passionately taking responsibility of my own section. I excel at working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and take pride in delivering exceptional meals to our guests.

Key responsibilities:
- I will independently run a dedicated section of the kitchen
- I will prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standard
- I will be responsible for portion and waste control
- I will be responsible for the cleanliness, organisation, and stock levels of my section
- I will be responsible for maintaining food hygiene and safety standards
- I will support in training and mentoring the junior kitchen team
- I will effectively communicate with the other chefs and our front-of-house team to support with a smooth service
- I will fully embody the Airports âOne Teamâ culture and understand that there may be times when I am required to undertake other activities to support the needs of the business.
- I understand that the Airport is in operation 24/7 and this role will require me to work early mornings, which include 3am starts

- I am a strong, confident, communicator and can effectively liaise with my team members
