About the role
Working across the SkyLife Lounge and SkyCafe outlets, I am responsible for the delivery of the consistent high-quality experience our passengers have grown to expect. Although my area of expertise is within the SkyLife Lounge and SkyCafe, I work with the F&B Leadership teams to develop and maintain a culture of continuous improvement across all aspects of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- I will be responsible for driving the EBITDA of both the Lounge and the Café.
- I will be responsible for the development of the Duty Supervisors and Team Members in the Lounge/Café, with the goal to deliver industry leading standards.
- I will be responsible for effective, dynamic resource management including deployment, recruitment, training, holiday planning and absence reduction.
- I will work with the Head of Food & Beverage and the Head of Commercial Optimisation to develop and implement improvements to the Lounge & Café’s.
- I will fully embody the Airports ‘One Team’ culture and understand that there may be times when I am required to undertake other activities to support the needs of the business.
- I understand that the Airport is in operation 24/7 so I may be scheduled and expected to work any shift during operating hours, this will include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- I have experience successfully managing a high-volume hospitality environment.
- I have experience managing and developing a team.
- I hold a minimum of Food Safety Level 2.
- I hold current in-depth knowledge of food safety, licensing laws, allergen legislation and HACCP principles.
