As an Air Traffic Control Assistant, you will provide support to the Air Traffic Control Officers on duty tomaintainthe effective running of the service.If you are successful in this role there may be opportunities to develop and train as an Air Traffic Control Officer in the future.

- I willmonitorand action ATC emails.
- I will answer and process the ATC telephones.
- I will processAFTN (Aeronautical Fixed Telecommunication Network) messages.
- I will complete movement logs.
- I will process the Flight Progress Strip.
- I willmanagethebookings for circuitflights, instrument flight training and other flights.
- I will prepare and publishMeteorological Observations.
- I will act as a guide to visitors to the ATC Tower.
- Iwillfully embody the Airports âOne Teamâ culture and understand that there may be times when Iam required toundertake other activities to support the needs of the business.
- I understand that the Airport is in operation 24/7 so Imay be scheduled and expected to work any shift during operating hours, this will include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays
