Currently we are looking for cover at our Bromley campus. The Role We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Maths lecturer to join our team on a variable hour contract for our Greenwich site. You will be teaching students of varying abilities – from Level 1 to Level 2 – and working closely with the Assistant Director on the expansion and development of the department to deliver the highest quality education for every student. You will inspire the next generation of skilled experts, supporting people from all backgrounds to achieve their career and life ambitions. You will also take a key role in promoting the courses across the English and Maths curriculum area, participating in marketing events and sharing your experiences as an experienced teacher. Skills and Experience For this role you need proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience. You must have achieved a minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent) and be a qualified FE teacher or willing to work towards this. Excellent communication skills – able to articulate clearly and confidently to class groups in an engaging way – are essential. Efficient administration skills to support good student record‑keeping are also required. About You We are looking for an enthusiastic educator with a passion for teaching maths who can work with a diverse set of learners, who is keen to contribute to the growth of the department and to promote educational opportunities across the curriculum.
