About the role

With continued recruitment growth and increasing group sizes, the Maths team will require additional teaching capacity to meet demand for 26/27. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis as suitable applications are received. Anticipated start date (subject to pre‑employment checks): Wednesday 19 August 2026.

The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maths Lecturer to join a high‑performing Maths 16‑18 curriculum team. You will deliver engaging and inclusive teaching across a broad ability range, Entry 3 and GCSE. Working in close partnership with the Management, you will contribute to the continued growth and quality improvement of the Maths provision, ensuring consistently strong outcomes for all learners.

This role requires a lecturer who combines subject expertise with a strong commitment to raising aspirations. You will support learners from diverse backgrounds to achieve their academic, career and personal goals, while contributing to a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement.

In addition, to actively promote the Maths curriculum area through engagement in marketing and recruitment events, representing the department with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Maths related subject
  • Proven experience in teaching within Further Education and/or relevant industry experience
  • A recognised teaching qualification for the FE sector
  • A minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent)
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of learners
  • Effective organisational and administrative skills to maintain accurate student records and support high standards of compliance
