The Role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Maths lecturer to join our team. You will be teaching students of varying abilities—from Level 1 to Level 2 and GCSE. You will work closely with the Assistant Director of Maths on the expansion and development of the department, helping us deliver the highest quality education for every student. With your experience, you will help inspire the next generation of skilled experts and support people from all backgrounds to achieve their career and life ambitions. You will also promote the courses across the Maths curriculum area, taking part in marketing events and sharing your experiences as a teacher.
Skills and Experience / Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience.
- Minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent) and a degree in a Maths-related topic.
- Qualified FE teacher (or be willing to work towards this).
- Excellent communication skills; able to articulate clearly and confidently to class groups in an engaging way.
- Efficient administration skills to support good student record-keeping.
