The RoleAn experienced Media Lecturer is required to teach learners at our Bromley campus across all levels of Media Studies qualifications. Ideally, you will need knowledge of BTEC qualifications and the qualifications and experience to deliver Media – Animation, Gaming and Graphics/ TV, Film and Sound, and/or Esports courses. The ideal candidate will also have experience in and up-to-date knowledge of the industry.
Skills and ExperienceThe ideal candidate will hold a Media qualification and must hold a full teaching qualification or be working towards one. To be successful in this role, you\’ll need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to motivate and inspire others effectively. You will also have exceptional organisational skills, good IT knowledge, and sound administrative skills. For this role, you will need to have proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience. You will have achieved a minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent) – and be a qualified FE teacher (or be willing to work towards this).
