Overview
London South East Colleges is looking for an ambitious, motivated and target-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing Employer Engagement and Innovation team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving apprenticeship and commercial growth, forming strong employer partnerships, and promoting the college's training offer across South East London. You will generate new business, nurture employer relationships, and contribute directly to our mission of transforming lives through learning.

Responsibilities
- Generating apprenticeship and commercial training leads through outreach, networking and employer engagement.
- Managing employer accounts, ensuring outstanding service and repeat business.
- Supporting employers with the Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS), cohort creation and recruitment processes.
- Presenting tailored training solutions and promoting the benefits of apprenticeships.
- Working collaboratively with curriculum teams to match employer needs with LSEC's training provision.
- Maintaining accurate records using the CRM system and providing regular reports on activity and pipeline.
Qualifications / Experience
- Confident, persuasive and target-oriented.
- Skilled in building strong professional relationships.
- Experienced in sales, business development, account management or employer engagement.
- Knowledgeable (or eager to learn) about apprenticeships, funding and employer needs.
- Organised, proactive and resilient with excellent communication skills.
