We are looking for an experienced and detail-focused SIA Tutor - Quality Assurance to support the integrity and quality of our SIA provision. This specialist role focuses on ensuring that assessment practice is robust, consistent and fully compliant with awarding body and regulatory requirements. You will play a key part in maintaining high standards across the learner journey, supporting both staff and students to achieve strong outcomes through effective quality assurance processes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carrying out interim and final sampling of SIA assessments to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Developing and maintaining clear sampling plans across SIA cohorts
  • Monitoring assessment activity to ensure compliance with awarding body standards
  • Submitting assessment outcomes and achievement data in line with required timelines
  • Identifying trends or issues in assessment practice and recommending improvements
  • Working closely with tutors and programme leads to strengthen quality and consistency
  • Maintaining accurate records of sampling activity and quality assurance outcomes
  • Supporting internal and external audits relating to SIA provision

You will also contribute to the wider team by promoting a culture of high standards, continuous improvement and professional practice.

What we’re looking for:

  • A teaching qualification or working towards one
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills (minimum Level 2 or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of assessment practice and quality assurance processes
  • Experience of working within a curriculum or training environment
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues
  • A proactive and flexible approach in a fast-paced environment
