About the role
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bricklaying Lecturer to join our team. This role involves teaching students at Level 1 to Level 3, collaborating with the Curriculum Manager on departmental expansion and development, and ensuring the delivery of high‑quality education for all learners. With your industry experience you will inspire the next generation of skilled professionals, support people from diverse backgrounds, and play a key role in marketing the bricklaying curriculum through events and outreach.
Skills and Experience
- Applicants must have proven teaching experience and/or relevant industry experience.
- A minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent) is required, and you must be a qualified FE teacher or be willing to work towards this qualification.
- Strong communication skills are essential; you should be able to articulate content clearly and confidently to class groups in an engaging manner.
- Efficient administrative skills for student record‑keeping are also required.
