We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic plumbing lecturer to join our team. You will be teaching students of varying abilities – from Level 1 to Level 2.
You will work closely with the Curriculum Manager on the expansion and development of the department, helping us to deliver the highest quality education for every student. With your valuable industry experience, you will help inspire the next generation of skilled experts, supporting people from all backgrounds to achieve their career and life ambitions. You will also play a key role in promoting the courses across the Construction curriculum area, taking part in marketing events and sharing your experiences as a plumber.
Responsibilities
- Teach plumbing students from Level 1 to Level 2.
- Collaborate with the Curriculum Manager on department expansion and development.
- Inspire and support learners from diverse backgrounds to achieve career and life ambitions.
- Promote plumbing courses across the Construction curriculum area, participate in marketing events, and share experiences as a plumber.
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in teaching and/or relevant industry experience.
- Minimum Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent); be a qualified FE teacher or willing to work towards qualification.
- Excellent communication skills – articulate clearly and confidently to class groups in an engaging manner.
- Strong administrative skills to support student record-keeping.
