Teaching Assistant - Full Time and Bank in Walton-on-Thames

About the role:

Salary - LSEAT Harmonised 13 £25,172 (FTE)

Core Hours - 8:40am - 3:20pm - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:20am - 3:20pm on a Wednesday

We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our supportive school community. This rewarding role involves working closely with our pupils with special educational needs, helping them to achieve their full potential both academically and personally. The successful candidate will have lots of energy and enthusiasm, and who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to making a meaningful difference to the lives of young people. You will support pupils in their learning, encourage independence, and help create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where every student can thrive.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine passion for supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
• Has experience of, or a willingness to learn about, working with pupils with a range of SEND needs.
• Is patient, caring and resilient, with the ability to build trusting relationships.
• Brings enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude to every day.
• Works effectively as part of a team and can develop positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
• Is committed to helping every pupil achieve success, develop confidence and reach their full potential.
