Full Time SEN Class Teacher, Walton Leigh School, 1 Year Fixed Term at Walton Leigh School, beginning September 2026. Salary: MPS1/UPS3 + Fringe + SEN1 allowance. ECTs welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with parents, therapists, specialist teachers and other professionals to support pupils’ diverse needs and enable progress.
  • Support the curriculum area, as agreed on appointment (not applicable to ECTs).
  • Work within the classroom supported by a senior teaching assistant and dedicated team of teaching assistants, and receive guidance from an experienced senior leadership team.

Qualifications

Early career teachers (ECTs) are welcomed. Applicants should have a relevant teaching qualification and the enthusiasm to work with pupils aged 11–19 with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties, many of whom have autism spectrum disorder.

Full-time, 1 Year Fixed Term. Salary: MPS1/UPS3 + Fringe + SEN1 allowance.
