About the role: Class Teacher (ECTs welcome to apply). Salary: MPS1 £34,398 - UPS3 £52,490 (depending on experience) + SEN Allowance.

You will lead a class at our Virginia Water site, supported in the classroom by a Senior Teaching Assistant and a team of Teaching Assistants, as well as by an experienced and highly supportive Senior Leadership Team. You will work closely with parents, therapists, specialist teachers and other professionals to meet pupils’ individual needs and help them thrive academically, socially and emotionally. You will also take responsibility for a curriculum area (unless you are an ECT), which will be agreed upon at appointment and tailored to your strengths and interests.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead classroom instruction and manage learning activities.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to design and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Coordinate with therapists, specialist teachers and other professionals to support pupils’ development.
  • Develop and deliver a curriculum area, aligning with pupils’ strengths and interests.
  • Monitor pupils’ progress and provide feedback to parents and stakeholders.
