About the role:

The Role:

  • You will be working in the Learning Centre supporting students and staff in all aspects of the use of the Learning Centres across mainly our Bromley and Orpington sites.
  • Provide study skills and information retrieval skills support, and accessibility technology support.
  • Support the development of and deliver study skills sessions (one to one or groups) and research, develop and maintain resources.
  • Contribute to the development of e-learning strategies and resources.
  • Promote the service with students and staff.
  • Identify and respond to curriculum needs.
  • The role will be full time 37 hours a week over 38 weeks.

Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a library environment or familiar with working in a learning support role.
  • To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to effectively motivate and inspire others.
  • You’ll also have exceptional organisational skills combined with strong digital skills, sound administration skills and preferably have experience of using Library Management Systems.
