The role involves recruiting for two Grade 8 Midwifery Senior Lecturers (1x 1FTE & 1x 0.6FTE).
About You:
- NMC registrant as a Midwife.
- Degree (essential) plus preferably PGCE or Masters relevant experience.
- Teaching experience in HEI or practice settings and experience of supporting learners teaching and development.
- Experience of working with a broad range of Midwifery experience.
- Experienced at organising and facilitating workshops/events.
- Experience of teaching NIPE and foetal monitoring and PMA (highly desirable).
- Medicine management and additional care needs experience in clinical practice.
- Current working midwifery knowledge and insight into national and local guidelines.
The successful candidate will be degree educated, be highly motivated and bring a thorough understanding of Midwifery in the UK and internationally. Should have a passion for teaching and enhancing Midwifery education and supporting the current workforce.
