The role
London South Bank University (LSBU) are excited to be recruiting for a part time (0.6FTE) Senior Lecturer in Diagnostic Radiography. The Diagnostic Radiography programmes have an established and successful team that collaborates with practice partners, regulator and students to align with LSBU's values - EPPIIC: Excellence in delivering a quality education service, Professionalism in being accountable and responsible in delivering education that inspires, Integrity creating an environment of trust, Inclusivity is our strength, celebrating differences within a vibrant community and advocating for no barriers to brilliance, and Creativity, encouraging and opening opportunities for innovation, research and entrepreneurship to enhance LSBU's standing.
This post offers the successful candidate with the opportunity to provide inspirational practice education leadership for the Diagnostic Radiography programmes. You will oversee and manage teaching and practice education across BSc and PGCert Diagnostic Radiography programmes. The post holder will support the coordination and development of large number of placements and work with internal and external stakeholders continuously innovating improvements and quality assurance of the placement learning experiences.
About You:
- Current HCPC registration and a relevant BSc or Master's degree if wanting to engage in post grad teaching
- Clinical/practice placement education experience and or teaching experience
- Audit, review, and improvement planning skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, networking and IT proficiencies (MS Office, Moodle, Teams)
- Demonstrable commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have a good understanding of the Society and College of Radiography's requirements for education and placements, have supervisory experience working with students.
