The role

The Senior CRM Campaigns Officer plays a key role in planning and creating personalised, omni‑channel communications and journeys across the entire student journey, using Marketing Cloud. The candidate will design data‑driven campaigns that inspire engagement and drive conversion, and work closely with recruitment, marketing, and digital teams. The candidate will tailor messaging to diverse audiences and deliver compelling, insight‑led content and journeys, analyse performance, optimise and put forward recommendations. The candidate will also ensure regulatory compliance, and champion CRM best practice across the university. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, collaborative CRM specialist to make a real impact on the student experience at LSBU.

What You Will Bring

  • Strong experience in CRM, email marketing, and communications (ideally in Higher Education), with the ability to plan and manage multi‑channel campaigns.
  • Skilled at creating clear, engaging content and translating complex information into concise messaging.
  • Good knowledge of enterprise CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot), particularly in building complex customer journeys.
  • Excellent attention to details with understanding of data structures, basic SQL, campaign reporting, and GDPR/CMA compliance in CRM activity.
  • Strong project management and collaboration skills, delivering complex work on time while fostering positive, effective working relationships.
  • Clear communicator with a customer‑focused, proactive approach, using initiative and creative problem‑solving to drive results.
