The role involves analysing SMEs\’ procurement and supply chain needs, advising on relevant opportunities, implementing best practices, and offering training to enhance their understanding of procurement principles.

    As a Procurement and Supply Chain Expert, you will embark on an exciting journey of supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in London. Your work will involve building relationships with these businesses, understanding their unique Procurement and supply chain needs, and providing them with tailored advice and solutions. You will analyse and identify relevant business opportunities, guiding SMEs in successfully obtaining and delivering high-value contracts. By implementing cutting-edge procurement practices, you will optimise their operations, foster partnerships with industry stakeholders, and contribute to the growth and success of these SMEs. Additionally, you will stay at the forefront of industry trends, constantly learning and implementing emerging practices in procurement and supply chain management. Through your expertise and dedication, you will play a vital role in empowering SMEs, helping them overcome challenges, and positioning them for success in the dynamic procurement world. The impact of your work will not only transform individual businesses but also contribute to the broader economic development of London\’s entrepreneurial landscape.

    Details about the role

    Twelve months Fixed Term contract with the possibility to extend for additional six months.

    Interview/assessment – week commencing 4th September 2023.

    This role is eligible for sponsorship under the UKVI Skilled Worker route and has been mapped to SOC 3541 Buyers and procurement officers. Any successful candidate requiring sponsorship would also need to meet the minimum number of points under the Skilled Worker route.
