Turning Passion into Purpose. London South Bank University are excited to be recruiting a Partnership Support Officer to join LSBU Global. LSBU Global is the transnational education arm of London South Bank University. Our aim is to bring London closer to our students wherever they are, to positively impact over a million lives through the provision of LSBU courses locally, and to create an interactive experience for all our students.
For this position, the post holder will support the wider LSBU Global team as a point of contact between students, academic colleagues, external stakeholders and central university departments and will at times be required to deal with sensitive and confidential issues. A professional and discreet level of conduct and service will therefore be expected at all times. A considerate and flexible approach to work, including overseas travel, will be expected.
About You: We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:
- To be able to provide high quality administrative support service for the partnership portfolio at the university and other partner institutions.
- To be able to demonstrate an understanding and experience of complex course and student administration in higher education.
- To have demonstrable knowledge of and use of a range of IT packages.
- To have experience of servicing committees and/or other formal meetings, including minute taking and following up matters.
- To support in providing accurate information and data on courses/students.
The post holder will be expected to work on their own initiative most of the time. Additionally, they will form part of the overall team within LSBU Global and within the Operations team and will be expected to perform additional tasks and activities within their grade.
