The role
LSBU Business School seeks to appoint a Lecturer – Teaching & Scholarship (Grade 7) in the area of Accounting and Finance. We welcome applications from candidates who are committed to delivering high-quality, innovative and inclusive teaching that enhances the student experience and supports positive student outcomes. The successful candidates will be able to contribute to the delivery of high-quality undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education, as well as to the School’s enterprise, knowledge exchange and impact activities.
What You Will Bring
- Be able to demonstrate relevant experience and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, innovative and inclusive teaching that enhances student experience and outcomes.
- Be willing to contribute actively to curriculum development and enhancement, assessment and moderation, student supervision and academic support, while engaging with contemporary pedagogical approaches and developments within their discipline.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the scholarship of teaching and learning, professional development and engagement with relevant professional bodies and networks.
- Contribute to the School’s education, enterprise and knowledge exchange activities, including professional development, upskilling programmes, short courses and CPD for external partners.
- Undertake appropriate academic leadership, administrative and citizenship responsibilities, including module leadership, student recruitment and onboarding activities, and participation in relevant committees, panels and working groups.
- Demonstrate a collaborative approach, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a willingness to contribute positively to the wider academic community and the strategic ambitions of LSBU Business School.
