We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual to join the Library and Student IT Support Customer Services team based at our Southwark campus.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual to join the Library and Student IT Support Customer Services team based at our Southwark campus.
As part of the team, you will contribute to frontline customer services (both in-person, online and via telephone) supporting customers with a wide range of Library and student IT support related enquiries. In addition, the team is responsible for answering enquiries about LSBU courses from prospective students. The team also ensure the smooth running of the LSBU campus libraries.
As a member of the Communications & Publications sub-team, you will support the development of the library website and the myLSBU student portal. You will take part in the design and creation of publicity campaigns and the promotion of library and student IT support services via posters, digital signage, online content and social media.
About You:
We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience of working within a team
- Knowledge and practical experience of using desktop publishing software
- Experience of working with HTML and CSS
- Attention to detail is essential
- Strong IT literacy, particularly in Microsoft 365.
- Contribute to physical aspects of the job such as shelving and moving equipment, with support available where needed
The ideal candidate will be degree educated, be highly motivated and bring enthusiasm and drive to the team with a willingness to share ideas and think creatively.
