We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Lecturer in Construction to join the team at South Bank Colleges and Academies (SBA/SBC). In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching and learning across a range of Construction programmes, supporting our learners to develop the practical skills, technical knowledge, and professional behaviours essential for success in the construction industry. You will contribute to the planning, delivery, and assessment of construction-related curriculum at various levels, ensuring that students are fully prepared for progression into higher education, apprenticeships, or employment within the construction and built environment sectors.

The ideal candidate must have the following:

  • A recognised Level 5 teaching qualification as well as a level 5 subject specialism in Construction.
  • Experience of teaching Construction in a further education college and evidence of the ability to teach effectively.
  • Willingness to work flexibly to deliver a student focused curriculum (including working up to two evenings a week).
  • Commitment to an inclusive education.
