These are paid student staff roles, open to London South Bank University students to work alongside their studies only.

Salary: £14.80 an hour (London Living Wage)

Hours of Work: Variable, averaging 8 to 10 hours a week, starting September 2026 - May 2027

Location: Borough Road Campus with occasional work at other SBSU sites required.

We are hiring for an Office & People Assistant! This is a part-time role open to LSBU students to take up alongside their studies.

This role would suit LSBU students looking to gain experience and take their first step towards a career in HR, Office Management, or People Operations.

Typical responsibilities in this role would include:

  • Assisting with office upkeep and maintenance
  • Providing administrative support to People’s team
  • Supporting the upkeep of organisational databases and storage
  • Assisting in the employee lifecycle processes

We’re particularly interested in students who are passionate about collaborating in inclusive environments, have good communication skills and desire to learn. Shortlisted candidates will receive an invitation to an interview, with a panel of SU staff and may also include some practical scenario-based tasks.
