Position Overview
The Assistant Professor in Leadership and Management will provide academic oversight of LSHTM's education in leadership and management in the context of public and global health. They will have curriculum oversight of key leadership and management modules within our MSc and our Doctorate in Public Health (DrPH). They will develop and maintain a programme of research in the field of leadership and management in public health.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants must have a doctoral degree in a related discipline and management and leadership experience. Applicants should also have a broad understanding of the discipline of Public Health and its practical application, and experience of educational and curriculum development as well as teaching management, ideally at post-graduate level.
Contract and Salary
The post is full-time 35 hours per week, 1.0 FTE and fixed term for three years. A job share would be considered. The post is funded by the faculty and is available from 01 September 2026. The salary will be on the LSHTM salary scale, Grade 7 in the range £53,317 - £61,034 per annum pro rata (inclusive of London Weighting).
Benefits
Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary "Wellbeing Days". Membership of the Pension Scheme is available.

The post is based in London at LSHTM.
