The Department of Management at LSE is seeking a highly motivated, efficient, and hardworking individual to assist with front‑line services for students and faculty.
Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of administrative and student events support to staff and students.
- Work at the Department’s Reception desk.
- Respond to applicant and student queries.
- Help deliver student events.
- Post learning materials to the online platform.
- Support student submissions and examinations.
Qualifications
- High standard of numeracy and literacy.
- Sound IT skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience in an office environment.
- Experience working on events and front‑line services such as a reception.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to organise and prioritise work.

Salary from £32,890 to £36,052 pa inclusive, with potential to progress to £38,422 pa inclusive of London allowance.
This is a fixed‑term appointment for 18 months to cover a secondment.
