As such, we are seeking to recruit a trainee Careers Consultant to join our committed team. The trainee will be involved in programme development, the design and delivery of all aspects of provision and will work with students individually and in groups, enabling them to make effective career decisions and manage their careers successfully both in the UK and overseas.
As well as a strong interest in careers education, you will have excellent communication skills, substantive work experience and a comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of the graduate and postgraduate labour market, in the UK and internationally. As a trainee position, the expectation is that you will undertake a relevant professional qualification to the role. You will follow a training plan and have access to a range of support and development.
We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave, hybrid working and excellent training and development opportunities. The post-holder would be expected to be on campus at least three days per week.
