Legal and Regulatory Assurance Officer

As a member of the Legal Team, you will support the School in developing legal and regulatory assurance procedures to ensure strict compliance and appropriate oversight within governance procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement legal and regulatory assurance procedures.
- Ensure compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
- Provide advice and drafting support to the School and stakeholders.
- Prepare and present reports on compliance status and regulatory updates.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain effective oversight.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years PQE as a qualified lawyer.
- Strong knowledge of governance and regulatory issues in highly regulated sectors.
- Excellent organizational, planning, drafting, and communication skills.
- Strategic and creative thinking, with the ability to see legal issues in a wider context and manage programmes or projects.
- Approachability and strong relationship‑building skills with colleagues, stakeholders and external personnel.
