Salary from £61,870 to £71,292 p.a. inclusive with potential to progress to £78,762 p.a. inclusive of London allowance.
We have an exciting opportunity for an engaging and strategic Head of Market Insights and Analytics to join our team responsible for Extended Education programmes at LSE. We have ambitious plans to grow, building on our established reputation, and we are looking for a driven and analytical person to help us achieve our aims.
Extended Education is a highly successful and commercially focused division that oversees LSE activity in four key programme areas for a range of audiences, spanning from new undergraduates to senior working professionals:
- LSE Summer School is the largest such programme in the world in terms of global intake. We aim to protect and enhance our market-leading position through continuous innovation in programme design, marketing and recruitment strategy, and customer service excellence.
- Executive Education and LSE Online together deliver cutting-edge learning to executives and working professionals, including open enrolment courses, and the design and delivery of custom programmes to meet specific client Learning & Development needs.
- As part of LSE’s participation in the University of London Programmes, over 10,000 students in nearly 40 countries study for an undergraduate degree, academically designed and examined by the LSE, at one of 30 Recognised Teaching Centres or through distance learning.
The Head of Market Insights and Analytics is a new post that will play a key role in enabling Extended Education to realise these ambitions.
The postholder will combine strong research and analytics capabilities with a real strategic perspective and first-class communication skills. You will possess:
- Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including surveys, focus groups, and ethnographic studies to inform market research strategies.
- Ability to create compelling data visualisations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Microsoft Excel, including dashboard tools to communicate research findings effectively to stakeholders.
- Long-term Planning: Ability to align market research insights with the School’s strategic objectives and mission.
- Innovative Thinking: Capacity to develop and propose innovative solutions based on data-driven insights, fostering a proactive approach to challenges.
