We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience in fundraising successfully from trusts and foundations to join our 100‑strong Philanthropy and Global Engagement (PAGE) Division in support of LSE’s strategic fundraising priorities. The Foundation Partnerships Executive role is a key part of the Foundation Partnerships team, fundraising at the five‑ and six‑figure level. You will be responsible for initiating, developing and deepening relationships with a global roster of trusts and foundations in support of LSE’s strategic priorities and leading trusts and foundations fundraising for at least one Campaign priority. Shaping the World is LSE’s largest philanthropic campaign, aiming to raise at least £750 million, and your work will contribute to this goal. You will join a highly collaborative, supportive and successful Foundation Partnerships team.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate, develop and deepen relationships with a global roster of trusts and foundations, supporting LSE’s strategic priorities.
  • Lead trusts and foundations fundraising for at least one Campaign priority.
  • Collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders to maximise opportunities for charitable giving.

Qualifications

  • Track record in securing philanthropic income from trusts and foundations, or similar, while maximising opportunities in working with leadership stakeholders.
  • High aptitude for complexity, able to work with academics in specialised areas and navigate a large organisation with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
