The London School of Childcare Studies (LSCS) is currently looking for experienced professionals to join us as Subject Matter Experts to review and support the ongoing development of our Paediatric Sleep Programme. As part of our quality assurance and accreditation development process, we are looking to work with evidence-informed professionals who can provide objective feedback on course content, learning outcomes, assessments, and overall programme quality.

This is a flexible freelance consultancy role, working remotely alongside our Internal Quality Assurer, Programme Development Team, and other Subject Matter Experts. Depending on your experience and interests, there may also be an opportunity for the role to develop further into a more active Programme Lead position in the future.

The role may include:

  • Reviewing course units, learning materials, and assessments
  • Providing feedback on clarity, relevance, and academic level
  • Ensuring content reflects current evidence and good practice
  • Suggesting improvements or additional content where appropriate
  • Supporting quality assurance and accreditation processes
  • Advising on professional standards and sector expectations
  • Potential involvement in expert seminars, learner engagement, or content development

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional expertise
