Role Description
The AI Marketing Professor role is a full‑time, on‑site academic position based in London, United Kingdom. The professor designs and delivers undergraduate and postgraduate courses focused on AI applications in marketing, including digital marketing analytics, marketing automation, personalization, and predictive modeling.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities include:
- Preparing and updating course materials
- Delivering lectures and seminars
- Supervising projects and dissertations
- Assessing student performance and providing academic advising
- Conducting scholarly or applied research in AI and marketing
- Contributing to curriculum development
- Engaging with industry partners to keep course content current and relevant
- Participating in departmental meetings, quality assurance activities, and wider school initiatives to enhance teaching standards and learner experience
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Marketing, Marketing Management, and Consumer Behavior, with the ability to integrate AI and data‑driven concepts into teaching.
- Proficiency in Market Research and applied Research methods relevant to marketing, including quantitative and qualitative approaches.
- Proven experience teaching at higher education level or facilitating professional training in marketing, AI marketing, or related fields.
- Relevant postgraduate degree (e.g., Master’s or PhD) in Marketing, Business, Data/AI in Marketing, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in AI tools and technologies used in marketing (e.g., marketing automation platforms, analytics tools, recommendation systems).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with a learner‑centered and inclusive pedagogical approach.
- Track record or potential for scholarly publications, industry projects, or consultancy in marketing and AI‑related areas.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, contribute to curriculum development, and engage with industry and professional networks.
