The expectation is clear, you must have previous waiting or floor service experience, be comfortable working at pace, support smooth service, maintain standards, and help create the kind of atmosphere guests remember long after the final course.
This isn’t your standard waiting role.
It’s table service, guest connection, polished presentation, confident menu knowledge, clean sections, service theatre, upselling, smooth handovers, and keeping the floor looking flawless even when the room is buzzing.
You are
- Experienced on the floor, with confidence taking orders, serving guests, handling busy service, and keeping your section organised under pressure.
- Comfortable with menus, drinks recommendations, table service, tray service, clearing, resetting, guest questions, and the standards that make service feel effortless.
- A natural host with personality, confidence, and warmth, able to read the room, connect with guests, and bring House of Gods energy to every interaction.
- Fast, organised, and reliable, with the ability to manage orders, keep sections clean, support smooth service, and stay calm when the floor gets busy.
- Commercially aware, ready to upsell, recommend dishes and drinks, protect standards, and help turn great service into memorable spend.
- A team player who communicates clearly, supports colleagues, follows service standards, and helps keep the floor slick from opening to close.
