Welcome to House of Gods Canary Wharf, where velvet decadence meets rock ‘n’ roll glamour. We’re not your average hotel, and we’re not looking for average people. We’re on the hunt for experienced Bar Staff, people with confidence, charisma, pace, and a genuine love of great hospitality.
You’ll bring energy to the bar, deliver slick service, know your way around drinks, and make sure every guest interaction feels polished, personal, and unmistakably House of Gods. For us, the bar is where theatre meets precision: beautiful drinks, sharp presentation, confident service, clean stations, and energy that pulls people in.
The expectation is clear, you must have previous bar experience, be comfortable working at pace, support smooth service, maintain standards, and help create the kind of atmosphere guests remember long after the final pour. This isn’t your standard bar role. It’s cocktails, conversation, clean-downs, prep, stock awareness, service theatre, upselling, guest connection, and keeping the bar looking flawless even when the room is buzzing.
You are:
- Experienced behind the bar, with confidence making drinks, serving guests, handling busy service, and keeping the bar organised under pressure.
- Comfortable with cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, garnishes, glassware, prep, and the standards that make drinks look as good as they taste.
- A natural host with personality, confidence, and warmth, able to read the room, connect with guests, and bring House of Gods energy to every interaction.
- Fast, organised, and reliable, with the ability to manage orders, keep stations clean, support stock control, and stay calm when service gets busy.
- Commercially aware, ready to upsell, recommend drinks, protect standards, and help turn great service into memorable spend.
- A team player who communicates clearly, supports colleagues, follows specs, and helps keep the bar slick from opening to close.
- A lover of bold brands, beautiful drinks, luxury hospitality, high standards, and guest experiences that never feel ordinary.
We offer:
- A space built on energy, excess, and absolute style.
- Real progression for real people.
- Full training and leadership support.
- 20% accommodation discount.
- Wagestream – a financial toolkit that lets you access earned pay when you need it.
- Tronc scheme, paid monthly.
- Staff recognition programme.
- Yearly staff ball.
- A chance to be part of something truly iconic in London’s newest House of Gods.
