Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and oversight of policy, compliance and reporting across the supply chain and contract management lifecycle.
- Develop and execute the Supply Chain plan, aligning category management with long-term procurement priorities.
- Embed best-practice processes, systems and governance and drive continuous improvement in how the framework is adopted.
- Own the essentials: contract management systems, contracts register and data quality, ensuring documentation meets governance standards.
- Use business and risk reporting to spot issues early, manage risk and drive mitigation.
- Lead and develop a small team (2 direct reports) and partner confidently with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience in procurement and supply chain policy, compliance and/or contract management, plus audits/policy development and system implementation.
- Strong knowledge of procurement law, regulatory reporting and supplier management.
- Confidence engaging stakeholders, delivering training, tools and templates to embed consistent practice across teams.
- Experience in housing or another regulated environment.
- You will be able to hit the ground running straight away.
- Assurance to the board members.
Desirable:
- CIPS (or working towards) Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply
