Your impact in the role:
- You will lead work to strengthen and simplify the setup of our risk management software, creating dashboards and reports to support understanding of risk and assurance across the business.
- You will support efforts to improve the quality of the information input into the system through guidance, monitoring, reporting and training.
- You will create reports that establish a reliable repeatable approach to assessing, analysing and reporting on compliance with the risk and assurance framework.
- You will create reports that present our current risk and assurance position, analysing trends, identifying risk and control similarities and inter‑dependencies.
- You will support the quarterly reporting to leadership and governance groups including our Audit and Risk Committee.
- You will support and coach risk owners and risk champions.
- You will also support the approach to critical incident and business continuity planning and testing.
Key relationships:
Part of a small central team that supports the business in understanding its risks, controls and assurance, working with risk champions from across the business.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience administering, developing the setup and training on risk management software systems/tools, ideally with Riskonnect’s Active Risk Manager.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to assimilate, manage and analyse complex data for robust data‑based recommendations.
- A sound knowledge of risk management principles.
- Successful stakeholder management.
- Initiative, self‑start and adaptability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to present complex information concisely.
