L&Q CleanStart is looking for a Machine Technician, and Warehouse Manager to take ownership of our mechanical maintenance, warehouse operations, and logistics. This is a pivotal role that ensures our services run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Your impact in the role, a s the operational heartbeat of CleanStart, you will:

  • Deliver the management and maintenance of all machinery and plant.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and internal policies.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, stock control, and logistics.
  • Drive cost-effective purchasing and budget management throughout CleanStart.
  • Champion sustainability by integrating environmentally friendly technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct audits, risk assessments, and ensure all systems and records are up to date.

What you\’ll bring:

  • Technically skilled – C&G/NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle/Machinery Maintenance (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Experienced – Proven background in mechanical/electrical repair, compliance, and workshop operations.
  • Organised & Analytical – Strong budget management and stock control experience.
  • A Natural Leader – Able to influence, educate, challenge and support teams.
  • Problem Solver – Self-motivated and able to plan your own schedules with changing requirements.
  • Tech-know how – Confident using MS Suite to manage spend and stock control, also managing equipment and machinery.
  • Safety-focused – Knowledge of H&S compliance and risk management is essential, using systems to record findings.

A full UK driving licence is required.
Qualifications like Facefit testing or ladder inspection are desirable, however training will be provided for these bespoke courses.
