Salary: £93,466 per annum to £103,514 per annum (London weighted salary) or £81,861 per annum to £91,491 per annum (Regional salary), dependant on experience
Grade: 13
Reporting Office: London, Stratford or Manchester, Trafford
Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)

Join our Finance Team at L&Q:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an appropriately qualified, self-motivated and highly organised individual who is hungry to tackle the role of Head of Finance - Analysis.
You will report directly to the Director of Finance - Modelling & Analysis and provide strategic leadership for L&Q's financial planning, modelling, reporting and analytical capabilities. Leading a high-performing team of finance professionals, you will establish the frameworks, governance and standards that underpin effective decision-making, financial sustainability and regulatory compliance across the organisation.
Working closely with senior leaders across L&Q, you will combine financial insight, external research and market intelligence to support business strategy, investment decisions and long-term planning. You will champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and professional excellence, ensuring the team has the capability, resilience and succession planning required to support critical business activities..
Your impact in the role:
- Strategic Leadership, Planning & Insight: Lead L&Q's financial planning, modelling, reporting and analytical strategy, ensuring the delivery of robust financial plans, budgets, forecasts and regulatory returns. Oversee the provision of financial insight, market intelligence and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making and investment priorities.
- Governance, Frameworks & Continuous Improvement: Establish and embed organisation-wide financial modelling, reporting and analytical frameworks, standards and governance arrangements, ensuring consistency, quality, compliance and transparency. Drive innovation, process improvement and the adoption of modern analytical and reporting tools to enhance organisational capability and efficiency.
- Stakeholder Influence & Business Partnership: Build and maintain influential relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation and externally, providing trusted advice and ensuring analytical outputs support key business priorities, financial sustainability and long-term performance.
- Leadership, Culture & Capability: Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering an inclusive, collaborative and accountable culture aligned to L&Q's values. Ensure appropriate succession planning, resilience and professional development are in place to support business-critical activities and future organisational needs.
What you'll bring:
- Technical & Commercial Expertise: Professionally qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) with strong financial planning, modelling and analytical expertise, including capital expenditure and investment appraisal. Able to combine commercial awareness, financial insight and business understanding to support strategic decision-making.
- Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Proven experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams while building strong relationships with senior stakeholders. Able to influence, challenge and communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to both financial and non-financial audiences.
- Strategic Thinking & Delivery: Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to lead complex financial processes, manage competing priorities, oversee governance and risk management arrangements, and drive continuous improvement through the effective use of systems, data and technology.
