The role involves carrying out general roofing repairs, maintenance and replacements across London. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified and experienced Roofer, joining a team undertaking a wide variety of roofing projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out a wide variety of roof maintenance and refurbishment projects, from small repair jobs to full roof replacements
  • Complete roofing works including felt and battening, tiling, slating, new roofs including torch-on 3-layer felt, strip and retile old roofs, roof maintenance and lead work
  • Find sources of leaks and complete repairs
  • Undertake other building maintenance works as appropriate
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communication, working well with clients
  • Complete required paperwork to the highest standard
  • Work to H&S guidelines
  • Maintain a professional presentation and keep the company van clean and well-maintained
What We’re Looking ForEssential
  • Extensive experience across all aspects of roofing, including:
    • Felt and battening
    • Tiling and slating
    • New roofs, including torch-on 3-layer felt
    • Stripping and retiling old roofs
    • Roof maintenance
    • Lead work
    • Identifying sources of leaks and carrying out repairs
  • A flexible, friendly and helpful attitude
  • A full, clean driving licence
Desirable
  • Experience with Widopan, Restec or glassfibre would be a distinct advantage
